I picked this B&B because of the promise of beautiful views of the surrounding mountains & was not disappointed. Not only were the views lovely & serene but the B&B was nicely decorated & the room (Cornwall) was large & very comfortable (has a new king bed). The owners greeted us when we arrived & were warm & friendly during the entire visit. We stayed 2 nights & were lucky to enjoy 2 amazing breakfast prepared by Mike. I’ve stayed at numerous B&Bs over the last 20 some years & his cooking was the best I’ve had. It is all homemade with amazing care & love. I was impressed that he made his own sausage & bacon. Cathy made yummy banana bread w/chocolate chips & a delicious muffin that tasted like a sugar cookie. They use local produce & honey that was delicious. After eating a full & delicious breakfast we were happy to walk around the 38 acres that surround the property. They have laid out paths that go up behind the property bordering some woods & back down to the front past the barn where a donkey & horse are residents & are happy to come say hello. My husband & I are birders & the wildlife around the home didn’t disappoint. There are numerous eastern bluebirds, barn swallows & we spotted a eastern kingbird, hummingbird and many more species. We even saw the red fox in the front pasture the last morning. The deck off our room was perfect for stargazing. The sky was clear & with little to no light pollution made it perfect to see all the stars. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who is looking for a quite respite in a beautiful setting.
